Rear Suspension Removal (August 19, 2004)

Here are some pictures of the beginning of the undercarriage restoration. I am starting at the rear and moving forward. These pictures show the removal of the rear suspension, brake lines, fuel lines and parking brake cables.
Status photos as of 9/19/2004:
Here are some pictures of the car right before the removal of the rear. I rolled it outside for a little powerwashing.
Here are a few shots of the rocker panel cover that goes on the inside to cover the wires that go to the back of the car. The silver one was sandblasted and the rusted one is what it looked like before I sandblasted it. swiss replica watches
Here are my bolt in Competition Engineering subframe connectors. I plan to clean these up and reinstall them. I will weld them in once all is finished. Here are a couple of shots of the Parking Brake cable setup.
Here a a couple of shots of the fuel vent line, rear brake line and rear fuel line.
Here are some shots of the rear undercarriage with all bolt on parts stripped off.
Here is the rear end assembly with the leaf springs still attached. The rear drums and backing plates have been removed. I have a rear disc setup off of a 2000 Z28 that I plan on installing.
