Right Door Pillar Repair and Rear Undercarriage Coating (September 13, 2004)

Here are pictures of the repairs done the the passenger side inner door pillar. These repairs came out better looking than the left side. It's good to see the practice from the left side helped the right side.
I also finished stripping the rear frame rails, and rear undercarriage. Of all the jobs on the car so far, lying on your back with a grinder with wire wheel stripping rust and undercoating has to be the worst. I will be glad when the rest of the undercarriage is done. I was glad when the rear undercarriage was stripped then finally coated with ZeroRust. I also coated the inner pillars with the stuff too. It is starting to look like a clean fresh frame.
I also have a shot of a set of leaf springs cleaned up and coated with POR15 and a shot of my sub frame connectors after being sand blasted. swiss replica watches

Here a a couple of shots of a cleaned up leaf spring. When I took the car off the road in 1990, the leaf springs and suspension pieces were brand new. For now I decided to clean them up and put them back on the car. Eventually, I will look into a high performance option once the car is on the road.
Here is a shot of my blasted subframe connectors and rear shock mounts. These will get a coat of POR15 along with rear end housing.
